Meet Chinda “Da” Zimmer

DaFu sauces began with the founder Chinda “Da” Zimmer who was an immigrant along with her brother and mother from Cambodia in 1983.

Upon arriving in the United States they worked various jobs until they decided in 1992 that there Love for Asian inspired dishes and Da’s passion for cooking would be a great opportunity to live the American dream and open up their own restaurant …To compliment and highlight these dishes they spent countless hours creating their own unique, sauces and Chile Oils.

Da, along with her husband, Robert Zimmer moved to TN in 2020. In her spare time, Da went to making these sauces to share with family, friends, and local community. The response was so favorable that in 2023 Robert and Da decided to start the adventure of bringing it to the mass public.

We are so excited for you to try our DaFu family recipes of sauces that began with Da and her family in 1992 and have been brought to the public for everyone’s enjoyment.
